Microblading is an aesthetic procedure undertaken to enhance the appearance of the face by targeting areas of the eyebrow that have been over plucked or where hair is naturally sparse. The procedure involves the use of a nanoblade to deposit pigment just beneath the epidermal layer of the skin, this is much closer to the surface of the skin than standard tattooing, therefore microblading is classed as a semipermanent makeup technique. Microblading usually lasts between 1-2 years.
As well as being a microblading artist, I am also a Registered Midwife working in the NHS. My background in a medical setting gives me an enhanced understanding of infection control measures, contraindications and complications and keeping you safe during and after your treatment.
